Another grand feature is that the hotel restaurant is high quality, with European-inspired dishes. One of the most notable features about this resort is their unique treehouse restaurant.

If you’re staying on the island of Kauai, then you may want to consider the Grand Hyatt Kauai. It’s a truly beautiful resort. It’s incredibly close to white-sand beaches, and it’s a good distance to the insanely wonderful green mountains.
If you want to be close to nature, but still enjoy a piece of luxury, this is a great resort for you.
The suites themselves are smart and modern. They are not as luxurious as others on the list, so it may be ideal for those who aren’t looking for the most exclusive resort in town.
The suites are very spacious, though, and contain private lanais.

This wonderful resort can be found on the north coast of Kauai. It’s an intimate hotel, away from the hustle and bustle, and acts as a calming paradise.
What is refreshing about The St. Regis Princeville is that the suites are decorated in Hawaiian style. While other resorts may go extremely modern, it’s good to see Hawaiian decor being embraced.

It’s a secure and modern resort, which seems to be a favorite. The suites are varied along with the prices; you can select ocean rooms, private balconies, and so forth.

The next resort I recommend staying in is The Royal Hawaiian.
If you choose to stay at The Royal Hawaiian, then you are very lucky. This resort located on Wakiki Beach, in Honolulu, is an iconic resort. Guests come from all over the world to stay here, and for very good reasons.
The concierge service at The Royal Hawaiian is impeccable and means that if you’re looking for advice for excursions, you’ll get the best help in town.

They even have their own high-quality restaurant, called Azure Restaurant. This is perfect for romantic evenings, and they serve some of the best fish in town.
The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua
The last resort I recommend staying in is The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.
The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua is the grandest hotel on this list. This one, in particular, is located in Maui, and is absolutely breathtaking.
All rooms feature lanai balconies, and the bathroom is made from marble. If you want to upgrade, be their guest! You can get extreme balconies and exclusive Club Level Access.
If you’re not sure what that is, it just means you get a private concierge, culinary offers, a private lounge, and so forth. Pretty grand!
Okay, I was hesitant about whether I should recommend The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, but this is an article on the best places to stay in Hawaii, and… it really is one of the best.
I was hesitant, because it is a complete luxury, and I figured a lot of my followers may prefer something a little more down to earth, but that’s not totally fair.
Everyone is different, and if you want to stay in a luxury hotel, do it! That’s an adventure in itself if you ask me.
That brings me to the end of my article on the best places to stay in Hawaii. I hope you have found it helpful and insightful. There are a dozen different places you could stay while in Hawaii, some grander than others.
