Best Spa In San Diego For All Budgets!

If you want to find a good spa in San Diego, look no further! All the best spas in San Diego are listed right here, so come and find out!

Honestly, who doesn’t love a pampering session in a spa?  When she’s been working all week, it’s a girl’s right to get a massage, a facial, and feel like a goddess.

It’s even more important in a place like San Diego, where the heat of the summer can put anyone into a bit of a funk.

With that in mind, I’ve come to offer you a lifeline – no need to spend your time trawling through spas anymore.  This is the definitive list of the best spas in San Diego!

Spa Kingston

If you want to spoil yourself, you’re really going to have to go some to do better than Spa Kingston.

The tranquil atmosphere will be obvious as soon as you walk through the front door and permeates the entire spa.

Their range of treatments is impressive: a whole range of different facials, massages are standard enough in a spa, but this one also includes reiki treatments and even a specialist acne clinic for those who have trouble with zits.

Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll be able to find it here.  Their extensive range of beauty products is also available to buy, including on their online shop.

Even if you’re not planning a trip to San Diego any time soon, this is well worth a look.

Cove Wellness Detox Spa Of La Jolla

This exceptional spa specializes in lymphatic liver and colon care and does an incredible job of it too.

Something that makes this spa stand out is that it offers retreats lasting three, six, and nine days with the aim of “detoxifying the body from the inside”.

This includes a whole range of possible services, and the whole package can be customized beforehand, meaning that you have total control over how your retreat pans out.

If you don’t have time for a full retreat, don’t worry.  This spa still has a whole host of high-quality services to offer you!

The MediCupping vacuum therapy (based on traditional Chinese methods of healing) is a particular highlight, as is the signature La Jolla detox.

Whether you just have a few hours or a whole week, this place has something for you!

The Catamaran Spa

The Catamaran Spa

The Catamaran Spa boasts the impressive status of being the only beachfront spa in San Diego.

In fact, it’s not just a spa, but a resort in its own right, with rooms and suites so you can stay for days (or weeks) at a time.

Before we get onto the treatments, we have to talk about the food – all of it is great, but the seafood specials in particular were worth the journey all by themselves.

That sauce!  Where were we?  Oh yeah, the treatments.  They take inspiration from the traditional healing methods of Asia and the South Pacific.

I’m not sure which country their organic spiced seaweed mud wrap hails from, but but I can’t thank them enough!

Combine it with some aromatherapy and you’re be only a step or two away from heaven.  There’s a fairly long list of other treatments to explore as well, so dive in!

Beauty Kliniek

The best massage in San Diego?  It has some stiff competition, but it’s certainly in the conversation.

The staff here seriously know their stuff when it comes to massage therapy, and can explain to you in detail the effects on your body of what they’re doing.

It’s hard to imagine a better way of relaxing than with Beauty Kliniek’s royal coconut milk and honey ritual, one of their signature treatments.

They also provide a specialist lymphatic massage service (thanks to Linda-Anne, their resident expert on the subject).

Last but not least, their anti-aging facial is impeccable.  I don’t know about you, but I’m sold!

The Spa At Torrey Pines

The Spa At Torrey Pines

The atmosphere at this place is first class, and that’s just the start.  It’s a resort in its own right, not just a spa, and can provide you with rooms and suites of the highest luxury.

It also features two great restaurants with incredible views and even more incredible food.  It even has a golf course!  But what about the spa?

Fortunately, you don’t need to have a room here to use the spa.

It includes a gym, a large outdoor pool, and a sumptuous relaxation room complete with a real fireplace to recline in when you’ve finished your treatments.

And when it comes to those, there’s certainly a huge range to choose from.  Facials and massages are standard fare, but there are some other less common options too.

Their hydrotherapy is excellent, as are their selection of wellness rituals.

They also offer yoga classes (group or private) as well as guided hikes through the beautiful surrounding nature.

I really can’t imagine anyone who couldn’t find something to love here.

The Hideaway Spa

The word ‘hideaway’ makes you think of a quiet, relaxing place to escape from the concerns of the world for a while.

That makes it a perfect fit for this spa by San Diego’s marina.  Another thing that’s aptly named is their ‘exquisite massage’ service.

You can go for either the 60 or 90 minute version, but both are a delight thanks to the skilled hands of their wonderful massage therapists.

If you’re traveling with a partner, you could try the couples version too!  You should also check out their range of facials (which include the use of Yon-Ka skincare products).

There sure are a lot of spas to choose from amid the bustle of San Diego, but forewarned is forearmed!

Any of the spas on this list are sure to give you an incredible relaxing experience.

Between them, they offer just about any treatment you can imagine, from a quick facial to a nine day healing retreat.

If you live in San Diego, you’re very luck to have all this at your doorstep.  If you’re visiting, you owe it to yourself to try at least one of them out.  Enjoy!
