Only 45 minutes away from the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, it’s the perfect way to have a luxurious bond with nature.
Apart from the luxurious accommodations, there are a range of activities available to choose from.
There is a commune bonfire every night from 7pm for toasted marshmallow fun with all!
For those who want to connect with nature, mornings and evenings Ranger-led nature walks are available and rare bird-sightings are part of the fun.
Nightly moonlight cinema with a giant screen and free popcorn will help rekindle the romance with loved ones.

Gopeng Glamping Park is unique as it is surrounded by rivers, caves and forest and can be a romantic getaway but also family friendly. Located next to a quiet village, it offers leisure, culture, heritage and historical activities.
Adrenaline junkies will love the ATV and the whitewater rafting with 13 river rapids! Gua Tempurung caves, Malaysia’s hundred-million years old cave, is only a kilometer away and can be booked directly with the resort.

Jungle trekking, whitewater rafting, paragliding and tubing are some of the activities available for guests with great attractions nearby like the Chilling Waterfall for a plunge in cold fresh water.

This place is a hidden gem located right in the middle of a rubber estate in Melaka. Not many people are aware of this simple but lush resort that offers privacy and lots of personal space.
Enjoy a dip in the 50-feet infinity pool accessible for all guests, or try a hand at the junior-level archery available on site. If you are a bathroom singer like me, take the opportunity to sing with at the Karaoke lounge where no one in a 10km radius will hear your croaks.

Expect to interact with squirrels and monkeys during your stay, up close and personal as they are curious creatures. Luxury amenities like golf course, outdoor sauna and a jet spa are at your disposal for a true touch of luxury in nature.

A man made waterfall and pool, rubber swings in the river and a fully fitted out kids playground are amongst the kid-friendly amenities available at the resort. A nightly bonfire is also set up for full family fun with marshmallow toasts around the fire.

Still a relatively undiscovered gem, this “Glamp & Camp” retreat is on the grounds of the actual hotel right in the smack of the city of Kuala Lumpur. The campsite is on a hilltop surrounded by lush greenery, mineral pools and cascading waterfalls.
It is very much a wellness and treatment getaway, with hydrotherapy treatments available at the facility. Get lost in nature with a touch of luxury in the outdoor sauna, steam room, and the barbeque dinner every night.

A unique gampling site situated within a tea plantation and a cabbage farm, this is one of my top recommended glamping sites in Malaysia. There are farming activities provided for all guests to try, as well as tours to the tea plantation for tea enthusiasts.
Apart from the farm tour, they also provide a Mossy Forest tour for all guests either by hike or ride the 4×4 provided. It can get really cold at night (as low as 10 degrees celsius on cold rainy days) so pack some thick sweaters and a raincoat along.

How to get there: Recommended to be dropped off or parked at Nova Highlands Hotel down the road, and arrange for a pick up to the farm with the resort, as the roads can be tricky and slippery
Local tip: The domes are closed with a simple zip, hence if you want to feel more secure, bring a padlock along. However there has not been any reported theft or crime so far

14. Lost World of Tambun, Perak
Situated in the middle of an amusement park, this glamping experience is a rather unique option. Surrounded by the natural limestone landscape, floating on a lake in the middle of a family-themed fun park, this one is highly recommended.
The glamping accommodation comes with access to the amusement park, hot springs and the night park which will keep you busy throughout your stay. There is something for everyone in the family and makes a good summer or school holiday destination.

The interior of the glamp domes are furnished with Scandinavian vibes as the inspiration behind Umea is the city’s namesake in Sweden. The location is strategic as it is surrounded by places of interests such as the Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Springs.
